Resum Prostate Treatment
Rezum is a treatment for benign prostate enlargement that uses water vapor energy to shrink the enlarged part of the prostate.
With the resum treatment method, the prostate is observed by entering through the urethra-external urinary tract (endoscopic approach). The energy generated through the radiofrequency generator is used to heat water outside the body and convert it into vapor. Water vapor created outside the body is delivered to the prostate tissue through a needle to shrink the prostate tissue that causes prostate enlargement. The procedure takes about 10 to 30 minutes and can be performed on a day-to-day basis
